Lost 55.8 lbs


Six months. Over 55 lbs. And look at those pictures! My weight loss really shows! My neck isn't as thick. My shoulders: still wide, but not as bulky. My gut: still there, but doesn't stick out nearly as much as it did.

Six months. Over 55 lbs. What a wonder!

Day 180

What I did:

  • 2 sets of 30 reps each of: squats, calf raises, leg lifts, and half-crunches. My legs are angry with me.

Day 179

What I did:

  • Watched Big Hero 6 again with my family. While I enjoyed it, I don't think that it was Oscar-worthy. That honor goes to How to Train Your Dragon 2.

What I did:

  • Received a great compliment from my boss's boss today. He told me that I have one of the best rework ratios out of 30 developers. Not #1, but in the top 3 or 4. He also noted that I have a high task completion rate, which combined with my life rework count is "very impressive".

  • 3 sets of 15 various thingys with a set of 10-lb dumbbells. I'm okay for now, but I'm afraid of how my arms are going to feel tomorrow...

  • Received word that our customers are finally happy with the work I've done over the last two months. I refuse to believe it. They don't know how to be happy.
  • Updated my calorie goal. It's a little lower, now.

Somehow, I gained a pound over the last week. I was trying to be careful, even though my brother-in-law was making all kinds of amazing food and far too much of it. Oh, well. Here's to this week!

  • Was interrupted just before finishing a project to work on something that has to go out this Friday. Again. My least-favorite part of my job.

  • Finished the main story scenario in Final Fantasy XIV, the game I've been playing since the beginning of the year. It was awesome, and I got a magitek armor mount as a reward!

  • Baked a German chocolate cake from scratch with my amazing wife. Once we were finished, we were caked out, so we haven't cut into it yet. I think that it'll be yummy, though.
